Monthly Sing

The monthly sing of the St. George United Methodist Charge will be Saturday, October 20 at Leadmine United Methodist church at 7 p.m. Everyone welcome.

Celebrate 125 years with us

St. John’s Lutheran Church in Davis is celebrating 125 years with a musical celebration at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 27. Refreshments will be provided, everyone welcome.

Craft and Bake Sale

The Hendricks United Methodist Women will have their annual Craft/Bake sale from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 20 at the Hendricks United Methodist Church. Eat in or Carry out menu is Pulled pork, hot dogs, soups and drinks.

County Round Table

The Tucker County Commission will host a County Round Table on Monday, October 22, at the Mountaintop Senior Center,in Thomas, from 6-7:30 p.m. The session provides updates from county boards, law enforcement, emergency responders, land managers, municipal leaders, county commissioners, and others. FFA Fruit Sale

Tucker County FFA is having the annual fruit sale. Contact the FFA Facebook Page, an FFA member, or stop into the school to order. Orders will conclude on November 12, 2018 and Fruit will be delivered the first week in December.

October 27, 3 p.m. Valley Vibes, Going Batty. Meet at the Visitor Center here on the refuge for a talk about our furry, flying friends. Find out why they are important, what species we have here in the valley, and what you can do to help prevent the spread of White Nose Syndrome.

The Little Mermaid

Tucker Valley Theater will perform the musical production of Disney’s The Little Mermaid on October 25 and 26, 2018 at 6 p.m. in TVEMS Gymnasium/Stage. $5 Adults/$3 Students/4 and under-Free

Benefit Halloween Car Show and Cake Walk

Thee will be a Benefit Halloween Car Show and Cake Walk at noon on Oct. 20 at Mill Race Park. $10 registration fee per car. Bring a bag of candy for Trunk or Treat. Cake walk at 2 p.m Halloween costume judging for kids at 1 p.m. Sponsored by Strutter Baton Group who will be traveling to the Citrus Bowl to perform at half time on live TV.

Cake Anything Walk

Cake anything walk will be at hambleton park october 20 at 6 p.M. Karoke, fried bread dough, hot dogs and more. All donations appreciated and will be used for park utilities. All singers and musicians welcome.
