Tucker County HOSA


Tucker County HOSA traveled to Marshall University in Huntington recently to participate in the WV HOSA State Leadership Conference. Over 600 students participated in 57 different competitions.

Those placing first were Burns-Interviewing Skills and Rader-Epidemiology. Second place were White-Pharmacology, Inza Pacella-Dental Terminology, and Emily Bennett-Speaking Skills. Third were Burton-Medical Spelling and Summerfield, Bowley and Bates-Health Education. Those placing in the Top 5 includes Moats-Vet Science, Ricottilli and Zais-CPR/First Aid, Meloy-Medical Terminology, Cockerham-Sports Medicine and Harsh-Physical Therapy. Also participating in the Post-Secondary division, Ben Flanagan, first place-Sports Medicine and in second place, Phillips and Roth-Community Service. Nathaniel Rader, is the 2017-2018 WV HOSA State President.
